Peter Ericson’s review published on Letterboxd :
I was pleasantly surprised that the movie is more about the everyday life of the only uninfected human in if not the world so at least New York than it is about the action I was expecting. The atmosphere is appropriately captured and is a character in itself. Will Smith is perfectly cast as the protagonist and convincingly shows what one might do under the same circumstances. As is almost always the case with movies of this kind, the dread and suspense are maximized when the danger is unseen and only hinted at; the direct confrontations with the infected beings are arguably needed, but those sequences are not the reason to see this movie.
