Vantage Point ★★½

What makes this decent movie different is that it spends most of its running time showing the same events from a number of different points of view; unfortunately, that comes off more as a gimmick than as an integrated part of the storytelling and makes the movie seem smarter than it really is. That a movie is unrealistic is not necessarily a problem, but in this case, the unrealistic elements detract from the enjoyment of the movie. The cast members do what is expected of them, but it is clear that at least the well-known names are underused.
