I have to admit that I was extremely disappointed by The Nightingale. It's overlong, boring and predictable. The writing sucks, every character is a stereotype with no depth and it's full of cliches and useless scenes. It's needlessly violent (there were even a few walkouts) to the point that after an hour or so it became completely uneffective.
