  Beautiful, spectacularly-acted film adaptation of the Melania whale tweet. What is she thinking? I used to stop speaking entirely on bad dates and I found that men never noticed. In fact, they often sent texts after about how connected they felt to "me." A similar phenomenon seems to have affected Joachim Trier and, apparently, the entire viewing audience of this movie.

  I love to see a man fully nude and then, later, see that same man fully nude but now a little fat. This is cinema! Thank you to Olivier. A triumph for Marlboro Red and Édgar Ramirez, who titillated me in at least five languages.

  Well I for one did not enjoy watching Ryan O'Neal for three hours. There seems to be a consensus that Kubrick makes ingenious use of O'Neal's shortcomings (his "opacity" if you want to be generous), but I felt like I was being served bad fish in a good sauce.
