So fun! A breath of fresh air after a series of surprisingly heavy Disney animal features, this is a funny stupid movie of the kind most associated with this era. Some beautiful technicolour photography, a delightful Hayley Mills with a host of other famous faces (Roddy, Grayson Hall, the original Riddler, Elsa Lanchester) and that excellent cat in an all-time great feline performance make this just really enjoyable. Perhaps a little too long at two hours, but the only thing that could be cut is the nosy neighbours so no thanks. An ideal cat person film.
