The film that led to me meeting my PLP (@ The Art Space during Jackie Karuti's Mid-morning Cinema) was such an experience aaaah.

So much I had forgotten and so many beautiful threads

We love love and family.

Since the film's making, there have been policy changes that mean trans* folks can change their gender marker and intersex people are counted in the census so progress I guess 🤷🏾‍♀️

As always, class figures in the experiences highlighted and it was a window into an under-discussed aspect of Kenyan LGBTQIA+ life.
