  At one point, Eddie Murphy is surprised to learn that Shari Headley had been with men prior to him. Somehow forgetting a major plot point of the original film was that she was with Eriq La Salle when they met. This is literally the only thing from the original that this sequel doesn't directly repeat to you while nudging your ribs violently.
