  good fun. basically exactly what you’d want out of a film like this. sadly, the negative cultural impact of hearing little kids screaming the “Afro Circus” song is too big to ignore and knocks this down 1 star just for that

  Often times when trailers for a huge superhero movie like this are so boring, it’s just poor marketing or they’re trying to hide some interesting stuff that they don’t want to reveal yet. That’s not the case here. An absolute snoozefest from start to finish. It really felt like I sat down in the theater, time went by, and I walked out feeling nothing about this movie. It just…sorta…happens? I suppose it’s not an incompetent mess either, the structure is fine, but that almost doesn’t matter because of how uninvested I was in these characters and this story. Really poor and underdeveloped in many aspects.

  Despite not all of the humor in this film necessarily being intentional, this is possibly the funniest movie i have ever seen. ‘Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie’ is such a fun ride. A vibrant, energetic crowd certainly added to the experience, and I could tell almost everyone was enjoying the hell out of this film. As they should, because it’s a blast. The energy from the audience rivaled that of a big marvel movie. This likely won’t be for everyone, but it was for me, and I LOVED it.
