Was wrong about this one. Even if you don't identify with the characters specific desire, you can't help but be caught up in the thrill of transgression.
Still feel there's more to mine out of the story, but not sure what exactly. If you introduce more conflict between the characters you risk undermining the hazy, aimless feel of the film. At the same time, there's something missing in the final scenes, a feeling that you haven't really got under the surface of Marc and Rebecca. Even another 30-40 minutes in the presence of the characters might have helped. Just go full indulgent? who knows.
