“nach bhfuil sí glan, néata? (isn’t she clean and neat?)”

there’s an eerie innocence in this film. you’re never settled despite the soft colour tones, the lack of dialogue and over all lack of action. nothing happens in this film yet it’s hard to take your eyes away from the screen.

    holy shit.

this is one of the best horror films to come out in a long time. between black phone, nope and this, 2022 has had some solid horror films.

    “nope.”

what a film. jordan peele has only gone and done it again. the cinematography, the score, the comedy, the cast, the sound design, the film! i was in awe. daniel kaluuya and keke palmer’s chemistry was amazing and the rest of the cast was just incredible.

if i had to criticise it, i would say that it felt just a bit too long. but i wouldn’t let that be a deterrent for watching. this definitely isn’t going to be a film everyone enjoys but i really did.
