My recent David Lean first-time viewings were pretty remarkable (especially The Passionate Friends, which Carlos also praised recently), so I have high hopes that Lawrence will hold up. I haven’t even seen some of his later epics yet, like Doctor Zhivago or A Passage to India, so my Lean journey is far from finished.

I saw a pre-blu-ray version of it years ago, but admittedly my memory started fading on it. The same goes for Lawrence of Arabia, which I really should rewatch soon.
