Beautiful, beautiful ending
A film for anyone who's ever asked themselves, "what would Hausu look like if it was conceived and produced by Fangoria-obsessed 12-year-olds?"
Absolute nonsense from start to finish. A group of adult "friends" wander from room to room in an old dark house and run into goopy monsters that feel like children's drawings come to life. Also, a sorcerer within the house is trying to resurrect his dead bride. A little kid gets buried alive in the first ten minutes.…
Before you look at this rating and say "oh wow I guess the Strangers sequel is actually pretty good," first consider that I am a huge glutton for:
- HEAVY Carpenter influences
- cool title cards
- slasher movies, especially shitty and ridiculous slasher sequels with masked killers
If you yourself are also a glutton for these things, proceed. If not, back the fuck up.
