Matt Hurt’s review published on Letterboxd:
The passion for politics that resides within the kids of Boys State is inspiring. Despite the majority of them holding political ideologies that I adamantly oppose, there's a tinge of hope that permeates through Boys State. In it, we see kids who are passionate about government and passionate about the political process with a fire that most people don't seem to possess until they're much older, if ever. There's a certain amount of comfort to be found in the idea that the next crop of political minds who will run the country will do so with at least some semblance of competence.
