This movie got under my skin in ways I haven't experienced in a long time. Certain moments are traumatizing and filmed in a way that makes you live in the trauma instead of subjecting you to it.
Other moments tap into character pain and grief in such a raw way that it's almost beautiful. There are tons of wide angle shots and long takes in the movie that really hammer home how lost the family feels.
Amazing horror movie.
