Matt Hurt’s review published on Letterboxd:
You can be mad about Disney's endless live action remakes and their sure ascent to global domination. But this new Lady and the Tramp is actually pretty charming. It elicits that distinct feel-good nostalgia that the Disney brand is all about and the talking dog effects were much better than I expected. Theroux and Thompson are charming too.
It's not perfect. The dog catcher villain is too underdeveloped and in a live action version of a talking dog love story, he somehow manages to be slightly over the top. Despite that, this is a solid start to Disney+'s original lineup.
