Matt Hurt’s review published on Letterboxd :
I love Funko and I love buying their pop figures. This documentary is a solid history of the company and love letter to the fans. But, if I'm being honest, I was a bit bored throughout the entire doc.
There's no dramatic element to the start of the company, which isn't a bad thing. I'd take a lack of drama in a doc over manufactured drama any day. But I feel like the documentary would have been more interesting if (since there wasn't drama) it focused on the manufacturing and artistic side of Funko Pops. But there's hardly any of that in the movie.
If you're a fan of Funko, you may enjoy this. But if you're looking for something deep and thorough, you'll be disappointed.
