Matt Hurt’s review published on Letterboxd :
I enjoyed this quite a bit more than I expected to. Brolin and Del Toro are fantastic in it and the story is very engaging. It doesn't have the Villenueve/Deakins visual flair of the first movie but Taylor Sheridan's script is very solid.
The ending overall wasn't my favorite part of it. It leaves the door open for another movie and I'm really not sure how I feel about that. But everything up to that point was surprisingly strong.
