Matt Hurt’s review published on Letterboxd:
Still processing this movie, so my rating may change one way or the other. I went in fairly blind to this and was not expecting the absurdist dark comedy that it turned out to be. Writer/director Riley Stearns tackles toxic masculinity and the patriarchy through the eyes of Jesse Eisenberg and uses the actor's nervous energy shtick to good effect.
The movie takes many strange turns. Comparisons have been made to Fight Club and they're not wrong. It kind of evoked a little bit of Sorry To Bother You for me as well.
Very interesting movie.
