Matt Hurt’s review published on Letterboxd:
I love Pixar and count Toy Story 3 as one of my all-time favorite movies. I went into Toy Story 4 feeling like it wasn't really necessary after the closure provided by the 3rd movie.
This is a solid movie but doesn't really justify itself nor does it have the same emotional hook for me as the 3rd movie did. Forky really was great, though.
I respect the story it tells and the arc of self-discovery/finding yourself that Woody goes through. In time, I could see myself loving this one.
