John Portanova’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was staying at a friend's house over Halloween weekend in ninth grade. They set me up on the living room floor, so I stayed up late watching a double feature of Halloween I & II on the USA Network. That night my life changed. Horror dug its claws deep into my psyche. I immediately had to see every film in the Halloween series. Then I had to buy them all on VHS. Then I had to see all the slashers that the franchise inspired and then buy them on VHS. Rinse and repeat for a few decades with some home video format changes thrown in and you have the man you see before you today.
