  Impressive and influential above anything else. Obviously Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, but it’s also giving very Spider-Man (2002), Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005), and Morbius (2022). “Flesh” is definitely Cronenberg’s favourite word.

  You can see where Raimis Evil Dead ideas began so clearly its actually quite cool... if only it was actually watchable.
