Jesus Camp ★★★½

What fucking nutjobs those aggressively right-wing fundamentalist Christian Americans are. The shit they do to the kids is borderline abuse. It's basically exposed as being a legalised cult that brainwashed the kids. The parents ought to be ashamed to do that / to send their kids there. It's terrible.

As a documentary, it lacked a bit of focus/voice to proceedings that you get in stuff like, for example, Louis Theroux documentaries. But it was great at giving them enough rope to hang themselves with. Basically just letting them expose their own ignorance in their own voice.

The more it showed of the church involvement with the republican party, the angrier I got. The radio interview at the end was interesting and worth watching for that alone.
