Oliver Durbidge’s review published on Letterboxd:
Woah. I liked this so much better the second time. I cried at the end and it all felt earned. There were moments I definitely didn’t like still. Drax got turned into a punch line, a lot of the jokes didn’t land, I don’t really like ego as a villain. But those moments I liked, I really really liked them. It makes it a hard movie to score and rank, but I know now what James Gunn was trying to do and I’m on board with it.
I’m really enjoying rewatching these movies.
