The character fletcher is amazing with his homophobic remarks, makes him more real. Story very good, editing is bloody amazing. Cinematography is amazing, my style is intertwined with it, use of shoulder rigs to allow audience to be with the character. Use of whip pans, amazing and are used in all the correct places. Only reason i didn't give it a 5 star is because some the acting from the fellow musicians/drummers is bit janky, some of the dialogue they say isn't quite natural for me. I'm not a big fan of Jazz, but it makes the movie incredibly gripping and leaves you on the edge of your seat.
