John Cao’s review published on Letterboxd:
Had to analyze Marlon Brando's performance for class, and WOW, he really makes some subtle contributions. Changing eye contact over time, chewing gum, moving sporadically, playing with his surroundings at the park. So many tiny little details that wouldn't be in even the most detailed script. And Juror 3 from 12 Angry Men is the bad guy again! Can't go wrong with this movie; it belongs in the Criterion Collection.
Fun little coincidence: I watched Raging Bull earlier that same day! There's an entire segment where Robert De Niro is just quoting Terry Malloy. It makes so much more sense now that I've seen the source material.
