    Hikers in the woods of England. Here we go.... is it a direct rip-off? Not really, though this is a poor attempt at horror-comedy. A zombie film production is underway in a rural area, and mysterious murders plague the crew. Some slightly amusing characters, but this is only an ok-ish flick that I really wouldn't recommend.

    A woman with an agenda picking up men in bars. The film is initially told in a method nearer to that of horror movies, but it evolves into a personal journey... one of self-discovery. No spoilers here, but it's a lot better than I thought it would be.

    Even thought I've seen The Bride of Frankenstein many times before, I took an unusual amount of pleasure in re-viewing it this time around. It had been a few years, I think.

    If you grew up in the era without videotapes or DVDs, as I did, then you relied on TV for your horror entertainment. I was fortunate to have a public station which offered all the old Universal classics (among others) commercial-free on Saturday nights and in serial form…
