The Dreamers 2003
Overall not a great movie.
But... it's selling point is how surreal it feels.
It's officially going to be made.
More than $1,390,000 in funding from Kickstarter.
Just for perspective, Paranormal Activity (2007) was made on a $15,000 budget plus the director/producer/writer/editor didn't attend film school which Stuckmann has and the same goes for El Mariachi (1992) ($10,000 budget) by Robert Rodriguez, Slacker (1991) ($23,000 budget) by Richard Linklater and the infamous Blair Witch Project ($60,000 budget) (1999). Another mention is PI ($60,000) (Darren Aronofsky).
I have watched Chris since 2014 from time to…
Gone with the Wind 1939
People give one star or less because it makes slavery look decent compared to reality and the confederacy as people with good intentions.
I love this movie and not for those reasons.
The whole purpose is that we see it from the confederacy point of view. That's fascinating.
To see it from the villains' perspective.
What I love about this masterpiece is its technical mastery. The long pans, gorgeous wide shots... the ballroom scene. Such mastery.
Cinema lovers appreciate this.…
