just a kid who loves movies
Beautiful Boy is an incredibly moving and powerful story about a father dealing with his son's addiction to drugs. This film really is a heartbreaker. It's beautifully performed all around, beautifully shot and the story was beautifully told. The true horrors of drug addiction are shown in this film with painful detail. I just think the pacing is completely off and I found myself really struggling to stay focused at times. I highly recommend this film
Oh this movie us way too much fun. It's so endlessly entertaining throughout. A non stop thrill ride. The characters are all likeable and play there part in the story very well. The audience learns their little character traits through effortless pieces of dialogue. The dinosaurs don't actually look awful. They look pretty great for their time. The action is all so much fun and well shot. The score swoops. I truly think John Williams is one of the best…
The way David Fincher glues your eyes to the screen through an addictive screenplay and story in 'The Social Network' is hard to replicate. This film is riveting. From the way this film is described I always felt I would find it boring. This couldn't be further from the truth. It's an absolute triumph from start to finish. Jesse Eisenberg is absolutely fantastic in this film. Andrew Garfield probably gives my favourite performance though he is brilliant. The score absolutely deserved the Oscar. It was so simple but so effective and absolutely deserved the win. I loved this film and I very highly recommend it.
I think this is a prime example of getting my hopes up a little too high. Don't get me wrong I liked this movie but didn't love it as much as I was hoping to. Sam Raimi's directing was fantastic. The horror elements really worked with the tone of the film and I loved it. There are some scenes that feel straight out of a horror movie which is amazing. All the performances are great with Benedict Cumberbatch being great…
