this movie was a big sloppy mess, but overall I enjoyed it. I like cheesy movies so I wasn't bothered by how cheesy this was.
surprisingly the action was one of the weaker elements, a lot of the fights and setpieces had no weight or feeling of realness, stuff just kinda floated around. I think Patty Jenkins was going for an 80s Donner Superman vibe and that's fine.

I was really blown away by this one, made me feel feelings I wouldn't expect a astronaut history movie would. Visually stunning, well-written, well-acted, and I think it avoided some of the cheesier traps of historical/biopic movies. A great depiction of pressure and strain and loss in both the mission side of the story and the human side. Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy are amazing in the lead roles. Just a beautiful film.
One of the problems with a lot of Dragonball movies is pacing, where it seems like Goku and the gang are powering up and going through their motions without purpose. I think Dragonball Super Broly avoided that, its plot had weight and it didn't feel rushed at all. I liked the rewritten version of the Broly / Planet Vegeta origin and I liked that Broly actually felt like a rounded character instead of just a muscle head. Animation was sharp…
