Summer Time Machine Blues 2005
Goofy ass time travel movie, with a nicely wrapped up (albeit predictable) story to boot. Humor was hit or miss and some of it was lost in translation, but who cares when everything else is enjoyable. An alright balance of humor and plot, though I wish the drama would’ve been handled slightly more seriously. Super fun to watch, and anything that takes place during summer in Japan is always visually stunning to me.

The Drifting Classroom 1987
Some cool visuals and a decent score. That’s about it. Half the movie consists of children screaming and flashing lights with broken English dialogue. I could understand the Japanese people speaking English better than the Americans. Most of the time the dub audio is super low and everyone talks over one another so that didn’t help. Two random musical scenes are in here for some unknown reason. The acting gets an F minus and the editing is atrocious. Not gonna…
