chris 💫’s review published on Letterboxd:
Joyless, comically inept filmmaking. An entire 150 minute treatise on the ever-growing list of Nolan failings. Completely rote and unimaginative beyond the obvious “wow, mind blowing!” plot gestures at intricacy. A tangle of mysteries unraveled to reveal nothing. Genuinely embarrassing that the man is so belligerently unwilling to conceive of this material as anything but aesthetically generic prestige filmmaking where style, substance and entertainment are all utterly unimportant in the face of... backward bullet go brrrrrr? Career worst.
