The Strangers: Prey at Night

It is what it is. A lot more spirited than most recent studio horrors, which is a plus. Some great camerawork and one of the most memorable sequences in recent horror history (the pool scene) help this one stand out from the pack. Could have used some more wild kills, though. Johannes Robert has a few good films ahead of him, if he plays his cards right, and it's vastly superior to the original. There are a LOT of worse ways to spend 90 minutes.
