Dan Ketchum’s review published on Letterboxd:
Viscerally gripping, yet emotionally vacant, this uneven experience is at once the most gorgeous yet the most sadistic and repetitive movie of 2015. And the striking camerawork is responsible for all of that. It's the film's best aspect, yet its most limiting and distancing one. But maybe that's the point, that the camera is like nature, not cruel, not loving, but external and indifferent.
