    Three Colors: Red

    My favorite of the three (four? Veronique?)

    The binding connection between this trilogy is very light, yet I'm certain there is much more to it than what can be gained on first viewing. There's a lot to unpack with the ending to this one.

    The visual storytelling and slightly surreal story being told is why I find Kieślowski's work to be so fascinating. I'll have to get to the Decalogue one of these days

    Bad Film is one of the most unique and passionate film projects I've ever seen. It's like the most ambitious and high concept home movies ever produced. It's really something to see a truly great director balance his budding skills with such amateur work. It really has a natural, and humble feeling to it.

    This is one of those movies that makes me want to go out there and start filming something. If only I had a few dozen friends to riot on subways with.

    I am honestly very surprised at how much people love this movie.

    I found that it dragged on for eternity, was filled with needless scenes, pointless gore, and characters that don't make any sense at all. The police in this movie are nonexistant for some reason, even though this serial killer is killing, raping, torturing and mutilating people within a couple of days, we never see them even bother. Instead some vengeful husband makes a guess with wanted posters, and…
