An excellent exploration of musical purity, mythology, idolatry and the timeless problem of confusing loving an art with being talented at it.
Bad acting, god awful script and melodrama that makes Douglas Sirk look like Bresson. Two stars for some editing flair but this felt like an exploitation film with all the fun leached out.
Tl,dr: I guess I don’t like pulp cinema
