i wtached this in cinema as a kid in 3D because my parents were getting divorced and my dad tried to be the better parent so he took me to the cinema. it felt like 100 times more intense and traumatizing. watching it now makes it one of my favorite movie. maybe because i associate it with my dad kinda (fake) caring for me when i was little but maybe too because the entire story feels horrifying and warm at the same time.
