Ingrid Goes West 2017
“If you don’t have anyone to share anything with than what’s the point of living”
Dare I say this is an American cult classic? Just a superb film that perfectly captured ( and is still relevant today) a specific time in our history (2012-2017). Strong black comedy that kept me laughing, on the edge of my seat and sympathetic to Ingrid.
Phenomenal performance by Plaza with her ending monologue actually breaking my heart and really illustrates our desire to connect…

The Worst Person in the World 2021
Deeply appreciate that this movie exists and I connect with it in so many ways. I love how the film illustrates how people can ebb and flow in your life and can stand to serve a specific purpose. To come into your life when you most needed them or serve as a lesson and to eventually become a memory in their life. Something they either hold to cherish or forget but nonetheless you were there.
