Pamela Hutchinson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Tricky to review a film you have longed to see for years with one of your very favourite director-star partnerships. I loved it, of course. Negri is devilishly, unpredictably sexy and comical too, especially opposite Adolphe Menjou. Lubitsch keeps everything at a wicked canter - it couldn’t be lighter on its feet. And the luscious new restoration from MoMA is a wonder.
