This movie is cognitive behavioral therapy for the soul!! With Heightened, Sara Friedman (writer/director/actor) and her stellar cast and crew deliver a captivating, hilarious, heartfelt, and smart film about anxiety and relationships. The film gets right at the many shades of anxiety that people face, all while telling a beautiful story with memorable and lovable characters. A must see!

Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls 2023
How can you feel anything but love for a horror comedy film that quotes Meat Loaf and Feivel from American Tail??? A mix of Napoleon Dynamite, Evil Dead, and Rocky Horror, Onyx evokes the cult classics of the 80s with a self-awareness and sweetness that you’d find among the citizens of Pawnee in Parks and Rec. The outstanding practical effects and repeated references to “Battle Beasts” are joyful throwbacks to a time of childlike wonder. The cast is clearly having fun and has tremendous chemistry, with a standout performance from Rivkah Reyes, a badass witch with a heart of gold.
