I found myself really piqued and touched by the closing monologue of Dorian Corey. How the trials and tribulations of life, especially of life rejected by our world, put into perspective what greatness and success truly means. My partner then excitedly turned to me and informed me how Corey murdered someone and had the body hidden in their closet for 15 years – in which Paris Is Burning was filmed during said time.

Chris Buck sits in his leather chair, gazing into his fire place. As the crackles and pops surround the room, a faint creak of the floorboards can be heard. Chris sits, calm, waiting for more to approach him, before finally another one sneaks it's way out.
