We've come a long way from "In & Out"...

Good: Effortless in both comedy and drama. Heartwarming without being sickly sweet. Best screening I've attended while not being the target audience since Mean Girls. They laughed, cried, hollered and applauded kisses.

Bad: Tony Hale could have toned it down a notch without risking any of his designated laughs.

    Misogyny loves company.

Good: Salma Hayek just get's better with age. Underated as a bad ass action star and her comedic chops are fantastic. Part of the gunplay is competently executed.

Bad: Men torturing women as a form of entertainment is always problematic and Joe Lynch fails in his balancing act and stumbles into speculative expolitation. It's not that someone can't be both aggressor and victim, but the switches in Everlyns behaviour feels like plot devices in the service of action/torture scenes and not like parts of a complex character. Perhaps nitpicky, but there are a lot of blatantly obvious continuity errors through out the movie.

"I am damaged on the verge of destruction but take me to my Autobot friends, they can fix me...or I could just scan a passing truck on the high way. Problem solved". This happens all through the movie.

I am also intrigued that Michael…

High octane Cage & suave Connery forming possibly worst haircut-duo ever. Classic unintended Bay-racism & big booms.
