Zack’s review published on Letterboxd:
The easiest part of this film is admitting that Chris Evans is still very, very pretty.
The hardest part of this film is not spoiling it for everyone else in the days before its general release.
Knives Out melds the timeless murder mystery with contemporary politics and successfully holds a mirror up to the viewer, as it interrogates the family unit and the meaning of decency.
The characters are well-crafted and the film picks up momentum because it is also well-casted. There are enough clues and redirects to keep an engaged viewer guessing.
