A technical masterpiece. The filmmaker in me marveled at the "how-did-they-do-that"-ness of it all. The planning, the performances, the production design, costumes, the sound design, the cinematography, left me in awe.
but I think like Roma where I was also technically wowed, I think this films bears a second viewing. because a movie is not just about technical achievement, it is about meaning, intention and what the film says about the world around us.
