Deep Rising 1998
Iโd only ever seen Deep Rising ย once before, back on a VHS rental in 1998 and I remember absolutely loving it! Why itโs taken me nearly 25 years for a second viewing is a mystery to me.
Clearly the CGI effects havenโt aged well and the film is not quite as good as I remembered it but thatโs not to say it isnโt stupid, cheesy fun!
Is Deep Rising a good film? Probably not but the nostalgia of the 90s and the pure entertainment factor is high with this one. At the end of the day, movies are all about being entertained and entertained I was.
