    Family night, we all agreed on Parasite.

    Third go round, noticing more and more fascinating and meaningful choices made from not only a cinematography standpoint but also from its set design— more than initially meets the eye. Bumped it up half a star due to that reason specifically.

    Still love that gym floor scene so much, too.

    The Shallows


    Thoroughly enjoyed this. Even though I was interested prior to my viewing; I was still surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Tense, gruesome, and emotionally draining. Give it a go.

    EDIT: I saw the film again at the 10pm premiere at a theatre close to my home. It help up well for a second viewing, and one so soon at that, but I want to elaborate a tad on why that fifth star is missing.
