Never thought that the thing that would scare me the most in this period piece werewolf movie would be a scarecrow, yet here we are.

Besides the opening act, this didn't hold the tension quite like I was hoping for. It does try to have an important message to it, a'la "Funny Games", but that was lost on me, possibly due to cultural differences. Still worth checking out if you're looking for a bleak thriller.
