Part 7 of my DCEU binge!

Another film that’s basically perfect casting wise, Zachary Levi is fantastic as Shazam and really embodies the role well. One of my favourite scenes is him catching the bus, or him stopping the robbery, both are fantastic. Asher also plays Billy really well, that scene where he meets his mom was really well acted. The rest of the family is well casted and acted, although Freddy, Darla, and Mary are my favourites. Them all suiting…

Part 6 of my DCEU binge!

Jason Momoa is great as Aquaman, and really I imagine if anyone else played him Aquaman still would’ve been a joke hero. I’m not a big fan of Amber Heard’s Mera to be honest. As far as villains go, the villains in this film have some of the best motivations in the entire DCEU. The animation is okay, nothing special at all, but there is some really good shots. I did like that for the first time in FOREVER, Batman was comic accurate - he didn’t kill anyone, they got the part about him being a child wanting to save everyone…

Part 4 of my DCEU binge!

To begin, Gal Gadot is absolutely amazing as Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman has the perfect balance between empathy and compassion and strength and independence and that’s what makes her such a great character - and that’s fully on display here. It’s especially prevalent in the No Mans Land sequence which is definitely one of the highlights of the film, it’s so so good. Chris Pine is also extremely good as Steve Trevor, his death scene…
