Karyn’s review published on Letterboxd:
Starting out, the scenery seemed to be out of place, but it deemed necessary for the plot and ending. Felt very long but it was something different in every frame, you can really tell they channeled a majority of their energy and time into the story line. I, however, was not a fan of the script. Very stereotypical and minorly annoying, even though most scenes seemed serious, I found it difficult to not find the lines from the actors comedic.
One complaint I do possess is about the animals presented in the film. Both a cat and a dog, in the end, die a horrific death from slugs. Very upsetting.
