PastorMattR’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a weird yet endearing movie. Sam Elliot and Larry Miller really kill it.
Sam Elliot plays a lonely old man who happens to have covertly assassinated Hitler and, decades later, is asked by the American and Canadian government to kill Bigfoot because it has contracted a bacterial infection that is killing everything in his path.
This is the kind of movie David Lynch would make after a late night of bad Chinese food and whiskey. Yet, it is strangely touching. I recommend it.
Following the IMDB rating system, I give it 7.5/10 and call it a high priority rental or stream. I'm one of those dinosaurs that still orders discs from Netflix and that's how I snagged a viewing but I think it is worth a rental.
