  Tsui Hark’s directing seems to be a little more reigned in here, and I wish Rod-man was in it a tad more, but still a bonkers good time. Mickey Rourke vs. tiger! Cyber-Monks!

  Man, if I was David Cronenberg’s son, I just don’t know if I would try to make movies like him. Or maybe they have this incredible relationship and it’d be impossible not to make movies like him? Do you think Brandon Cronenberg asked his dad if Skarsgård should cum on his own pee? I enjoyed this picture, especially Mia Goth (I hope she just keeps making weird shit like this), but it felt a little hollow.
